Yes,I would be too.I remember my armatus reacted very violently to being netted and moved....good luck with that.
I used similar sand to yours when I kept African cichlids and you appear to have a carpet of algae on the back wall of your tank,I like the way it looks.
thanks. The whole back and right side on the tank are covered I can't remove it. I like it to much. The sand was given to me. I added some play sand to it. It was just black at first.
The armatus jump out about a year ago during a feeding and I thought I killed it. It was out of the tank for a whole minute : ). Finally found a towel to pick it up with. It was upside down the whole night in the tank, but when I woke up it was still alive.
Now I'm nervous it will due on the move

That was how my armatus died.Something must have spooked it and it launched right up through the lid and a nearly five foot drop to the floor.By the time I ran down to the basement the poor thing had flapped halfway across the room.It fought hard but died two days later.

I never realized how slimy they are till it happened to me. Sorry for your loss. Dam fish.
