I had a question on the tank size for my Armatus! At 2 foot+ sizes they would need a 10x3x3 minimum?

Also on tank mates for a few Armatus would Gulper Cats have to much activity at night for them? I was thinking of 3 Armatus and 1 GATF with a couple Gulpers!

i would be worried about a 24" armatus eating the 8-10" long gulper

I had 3 armatus and ended up with one as they didn't like each other and always went for the eyes. Lost 2 due to eye injuries and last one at 18" died due to stress from other fish. You have to pick your tankmates wisely! This was in an 8 foot long 450 gallon so you may need a bigger tank then 10 x 3 x 3 if your are going to try and keep more then one for an extended period of time.

Back when I thought I could actually grow them big in an aquarium I was going to try a group in a 10x4. But that was for Armatus and rays, not sure it would be big enough for a GATF for life in my opinion, and not even sure it would have been big enough for a group of big adult Armatus.

Really wish we could figure out the trick to keeping them alive long enough to need the big tanks they should need if we could get them close to thier wild max sizes.

That tank would be good for one GATF or one armatus. Three armies and a GATF would be way too much fish for that tank. A GATF would really need a 4' wide tank also.

ALSO, you'd have to get your GATF about 2-3 years before the armatus. They grow much, much slower than do armies.

something like this

That's one dangerous tank.

300 gal IMO. Any 7+ long tank with a width at least 2 feet long.

Those gulpers might eat the armatus!
