What a bummer... sometimes I get the same feeling.
It would be a good idea to get to the bottom of this, find out why and maybe you'll do better next time. Mind posting some pics of the lumps?
Hey man, I know how hard it is for you, could tell you really liked your armatus...
Cheer up! It's not like there's not a second chance. Plus, your young mate, like when I was your age I was stuck with a tiny tank with a few Platys and even they died, lol!

yeah...i WANTED to dissect it,but i thought it'd be better to let is rest in one piece...
anywho,i can only think of parasites from the feeders now.
cant post pics, everything bad had to happen at once...my computer broke down too.:irked:
and my sister spoiled the camera.:nilly:
yeah, hope i get the chance again!

Agree with you.

Sad to hear the loss, Channa.

I feel that basic knowledge about fish keeping among hobbyists is still not there.

Water change is one example.

Luc

i agree that some knowledge about many monster fish just isnt there.
take scombs for example, why do they just die like that all the time.

Well to me is that you are very lucky to get a small one to keep from young... no point getting ones. The growing stage is the fun part to keep and study it...

For fishes that consider very expensive, I normally will do proper new setup...

sad story...well get a GATF as it should be avaliable
