few "not so good" pics,but at least you can gauge growth ect....he is currently at 6-7" this is one of the little 2" guys from river wonders....I havent seen pics of anyone elses or even if others are still alive as these came in very frail at a max of 2" and thin as a credit card...will keep up the pics for those interested in following the changes.

What you feeding him? HOw often and how much? I got one from RW around the same time as you did around 2" also. Mine is like 4" now maybe a little more so yours is obviously growing alot faster. Very nice bro and good job.

He is in a 220gal by himself and a constant supply of approx 50 feeders at all times...I keep a shoal of fatheads with him and pretty much let him feed at will....he has just recently developed the black and white edging on his fins and tail also starting to get a "feather or trailer" toward the center of his tail.
Yours looks good...nice to see a brethern of mine...was afraid everyone lost theirs.

on another note, mine has went through 3 sets of teeth(bottom fangs)..this 3rd set is huge compared to the others,he has also gotten two top teeth that close down between his bottom fangs.

OH ok i guess having a constant supply of feeders is the trick. I feed mine like twice a day with large feeders. Maybe i should get smaller ones and let him eat more of them.

Incredible growth man. Looks very healthy. Definately keep with the updates. I guarantee you are only going to like this fish more and more. I kept walking by my armatus tank last night just so he would charge at me over and over.

I do like him alot already and its funny how you mentioned him charging the glass...mine will sit or swim,but if you pass close to the front of the tank he will charge the glass and swipe his head back and forth untill you move away...then he will sit and yawn and posture a bit...figured nothing of it,but noticed when he is full and not hungry and feeders are around him...he does the same yawning and fast little charges at them returning to his place and continues to make intentional body gestures ect...very territorial fish...its funny how tempermental they are and how aware of their surroundings..in and out of the tank! This is definately a fish worth the money...although I must admit I was weary when he arrived so small and frail....he has more than bucked his size and temper for only being about a month or two old.
