one more question, do Tat's and Armatus's do better in a tank then scombs cuz i heard tht scombs die once they reach about ten inches maybe a little more under the right conditions is this true for tat's and armatus's as well?

i swear i've heard that so many times lol for all i know, it could be everyone reading from the same source. but there were quite a few members on here that has had that happen to their scombs. perhaps scombs don't mysteriously die, their lifespan is just a lot shorter than the other subspecies.

tats and armatus definitely do "better" in an aquarium in terms of reaching a longer length
