I think that even with auto feeders I would still want an actual person to check in on the tanks and make sure the auto feeders are working properly. This way they can also verify that no pumps or heaters have randomly died.

Seeing as in the last year I have been away for ~3+ months, I have about the same amount of auto feeders. Anyways, for large feeders I really like this one:

You can either have it plugged in, or use 2 6V batteries. Anyways for large pellets I haven't found anything that works better and more reliably. (One you figure out all the settings...)

oh yeah... of course... this just cut the load of the fish watcher.... as he gotta pay attention to the barra tanks..

will look into that when i get back... as i dont have time to tweak and test...
 
That Super feeder looks awesome!!!!

Now we just need a feeder with a refridgeration unit for frozen food...lol

lol you could have just gave me whatever it cost for those and i could just feed them on my lunch break :)
