89b ammuntions speciallist. i wanted an infantry type job but nothing was open and what i had on the table at enlistment wasnt even close. i scored high enough just for about any job but its all about availibilty.

nov 23 continued- when it was timw to geyt my actual photo taken for the mil id i had finger print troube. it just wouldnt scan and i was the
ast person to be taken car of for that day. it took anothe rmachine and that was finished. sincre all of my compant.y left to chow hall without me. you cant leave any one alone and i was alone. its the battle buddy system to protect everyone. to be continued for later as i have to form up right now.

i cant update as normally. ill just do quick here and theres..

i cant stand this. literally every night we get in trouble by some doo doo head. yesterday everyone was talking too loud and the drill sgt told us all be quick and he ended up coming up to the barracks. we now all had to do fire patrol. certain amount of people have to wake up at specific time to watch post. the next wave in the next hour has to relieve us of our duty. we could have just all slepted but there are always trouble makers. tonight there were these 2 individuals that went and got candy and soda at the vending machines. that was caught on camera and we all could have gotten smoked but the drill sgt gave us a lecture about uscmj. if any of us messes up at 9pm or later we are going to be pushing the earth out of rotation. i hope it doesnt happen.

So, you are in boot camp and you have access to a laptop or a cellphone?..I know it's been quite a number of years since I went through basic on Paris Island and things are different in each branch of service but I just don't see such items being a possibility there.

Welcome to the military, I went through basic in 06 and I agree with krichardson we had to get rid of cell phones from day 0 week 0. The 2 things you'll think about most the next few weeks. Are food and sleep.lol
