aro acting strang should i be worried?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
dont do any more water changes right now. by the sounds of it you've done plenty so far. waters good, jus let him be i guess. keep the lights off and dont offer any food for a day or something. maybe he's jus stressed out.

nonsense

his pH is fine

heck mine is higher than that

i dont think thats normal behavior for a healthy silver, when i bought mine it was swimming around my 180 on day one it was the same size as yours.

Delagado I can accept that yours is used to Malawi or tanganican PH levels, it happens...but nonsense is not to accept that it is an extremely high PH for an amazonian fish.

i know the PH is high but hes grown a lot sence i got him at 3" a littel over a month ago so i thought he would be used to it by now, today he wasent interested in food at all:( i think i may just put him in the 75g and watch to see how the other fish act toward him but first i need a lid and some black background.

well i put him in the 75 and hes acting a lot better:) (hasent eaten yet though)swimming at the top and all around the tank, but iam worried about the other fish at first i thought all i had to worrie about was the 10" clarius and 12" RTCXTSN but both of them seem to be leaving the aro alone, the one iam now concerned about is the CK he realy dosent like the aro for some reason and was going right up to top of the tank to chase him:screwy: so that was a real suprise sence 90% of time he never leaves his PVC pipe and ive never seen him at the surface before, but hes only about an inch or so bigger than the aro at least he cant eat him......i hope!

edit i just fed the tank some frozen krill and he ate
