well he needs a bigger tank NOW.

I agree and so does the clown knife..they need room to grow and exercise..very important for especially arrow digestion.. they need to move and swim.. they have a poor digestive system.. so he definitly will improve and grow if he has a bigger tank.. either that or give him up..

the aro is a baby, slightly underdeveloped ( but nothing permanent )...it is seeking comfort because it is stressed.

Give them a biger tank asap.

Sorry to make you upset like this, but it is stress, stressed arowanas go to the bottom to rest, and feel better when they are with other fish. A healthy arowana will never go anywhere near the bottom unless its for food. resting like that is a sign of bad health in arowanas. Good luck.

You're right, most of the time. I have grown up, healthy aro's that lie on the bottom, always in the same place, side by side, where they get a strong flow from a power head which is directed to the botom...one sees they really enjoy it and they are healthy aro's by any standard.:)

4months, please do something. if u can't upgrade please donate him to someone who can give it more space. thats unheard of in 4 months. that thing looks like a 1 month old arowana.

I don't no about anyone else but that statement just kind of bugs me:irked:

As for the two fish hiding together, it's probably that something is not right with the arrowana or something is bothering him. How long have you had the arrowana in that tank? Maybe he just needs time to get comfortable. Very odd to have arrowana just sitting there:confused: . The Doctor.

i dont know it didnt bother me that much its just an opinion yeah it sux that the poor thing died but no need to get mad at a little comic relief

My arow goes into the fake plants at night, they float at the top of the water. And I dont see him again till the morning ( hes 24" )
