This has worked for me as well, Prawns with (hidden) pellets inside. My 10" Asian Aro, Golden Crossback loves prawns. Interchangeably giving both Hikari and OF AR G1 as pellets and my Aro mostly doesn't realize eating them

When I come to feed him with Prawns in my hand he comes running towards me and show so much eagerness to eat, and just gulp the slices quickly. usually eats 2 medium size prawns as one meal per day.
