Aro Com Update

Replace those white sand with black one. You will see colour start to deepen in all of them.;) They are trying to blend in there with the base white sand thus all look real pale now.

thats this weekends job! thanks for the advice koji :) i'll post pics with the black sand once i'm done :) any ideas how to do it?
Just use a big net with netting fine enough to capture those white gravel/sand of yours. Scoop them out and end of the day just do a partial water change and filter wool cleaning after that.;)

Really nice collection. I use a half inch hose to syphon sand out of a tank. It's a slow way to do it because you have to empty the bucket frequently as it fills with sand, but it works well and you get to do a water change at the same time. If there's a lot of sand, you can remove it this way over the course of a few waterchanges.

Well i changed the sand... and here is a few shots of right after (hence the murky water...) all i can say is WOW what a difference and the dats are all out and exploring :)

there is definately a huge difference :)

This is just the begining. Give it another 2 weeks and you will see your fish start to deepen their colour. And also hope the water clear up fast.:)
