This is just baffling, my 7" skittish aro seemed to have jumped out of the back of the tank last night and go figure I was planning on getting chicken wire today to block off the back. I added duck weed last night to make him "feel more secure " as my LFS recommended... I'm thinking this was the problem, one of the hanging roots must of tickled him and spooked him? Anyone else ever have this problem? And how far can a 6" aro jump, since I've heard of larger ones clearing 15 feet. I can't find him at all, but just started the search 5 mins ago after I noticed

my ferrets tend to dispose of any jumpers in my house...so I never find bodies lol

Ferret Mama to kid, what you had for dinner ferry?
Mommy I had jack Dempsey with a side doze of two danios lol
haha I imagine that's how their convos go at night. except they've had 2 African butterfly fish, several largemouth bass and a florida gar lol

Ty for the welcome :) no other animals in my apartment other than the tank, he's in a well established, over filtrated tank with 2 baby oscars, 2 baby convicts, 2 small parrots, bristlenose pleco and a tricolor shark. He is by far the largest fish, I know of their skittish nature but Noone ever went near him at the top of the tank so I don't think he felt threatened... tank is located on wall near my fridge and there was no activity in that area between the last time I saw him and the disappearance. The only change was the duck weed which I'm thinking is the culprit :(

Might need to sweep the floor visually specially behind any coverings. Also check if there is any air vent in the floor uncovered etc. I doubt the stock in the tank would be able to devour it without any traces left behind.
