Also try turning on the main light in the room on for a few minutes before you turn theirs on. That tend's to keep silvers from getting to spooked also. Sudden movements, espesially in a dark room near their tank can set them into skittish mode. I would NOT recomend leaving their tank lights on all the time though. Fish gotta sleep, same as you.

mine also facing the same prob here! my red doesnt eat for 5 days since i started 2 feed him wif pallets (hikari)! my question is to the pros....hw long does an aros could survive w'thout eating?? (mine = 2mths/7-8inch)...many thnx in advance
