Aro for sale (probably)

I'm considering selling my Aro. He's almost 14", tank bred and raised, I imported him from Hong Kong. I got him for $50 as a 6"cher.

I love him, but some circumstances have come up in my life where I wouldn't be able to care for him for 6 mos., it wouldn't be fair to him.

So I really want the Aro to have a great home, money isn't that important when we're talking about a life, belonging to any creature.

I live in Washington State, I've never shipped, don't know if is a possibility.
I'd like to know if anyone is interested? He's beautiful (see past threads and posts, many pics there)he eats from my hands (snap) he likes belly scratches.

I really am just looking for someone that would give him a good life. Anyone interested?

He's quite friendly with his small tankmates, no aggression, YET!

that really stinks you may have to get rid of her.:confused: if she is still available if/when i get my 225 up i would take her. although i am in OH and its really far away. maybe someone could give her a temp. home until you are able to care for her again? good luck.
 
hi this a suggestion ive seen some people done.

they'd ask the lfs owner/manager if they can paste an ad on their door or anywhere inside the lfs abt a pet that they have to part with.

If the Lfs owner is kind enough maybe they will let u and that would be a great way to find ur fish her new home.

another thing is u can also put ads on ur local papers and on craiglist.

i hope nothing bad is happening to u ryt now mei...

The craigslist idea is a good one this way you could find someone locally. I think shipping a fish that size would be hard, maybe some of the MFK vendors will chime in with some advice.

This is sad, but props to ya for trying to do whats best for the fish.
 
!!! You know id take her if u were closer!!! shed fit right in all comfy in my 120gallon alone. wiat u said 16"? than she would go into the 360

Sorry to hear so Mei, I'm sure you'll find someone worthy to take care of such a well taken care of fish such as yours;) Maybe when your done with what your planning you could upgrade to a BLACK? that would be sweet....anyhow, good luck:D
 
Thanks for your kindness, all of you. I got this fish from my lfs, who's supplier ordered a batch out of Honk Kong. The Asian bred Silver's show awesome finnage.

No, this is not easy for me, I don't want to have to do it, but it's the only right thing, so anyone who may really want it, we'll work on shipping! It's growing out to be a very nice fish.
