Aro for sale (probably)

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
What size tank would you need? and Where in WA are you. I live about 40 minutes south of seattle and have a 100 gallon tank.

If nothing works out for you I would LOVE to take that fish from you, if my tank is large enough. I don't want to step on toes and I know other people want it so no worries on my end but it is another option.

PM me if you'd like more info on where I live.

Thanks and good luck with the fish...you are doing the right thing!!!!

Is this the best method for shipping though? With a "fundraiser" of sorts we could raise the money for your original plan. I would just hate to see your aro lost do to shipping. I posted a thread for this in the general forum, lets see how much help MFK members will provide.

Thank you, again, let's see what happens. With USPS he would load at 3 pm and arrive at noon the next day. That's less than 24 hrs.

If it works out for air, it would be ideal, so I guess we'll wait and see what happens with your post. Thanks!

Mei,

You should have asked the WA locals First. That Arowana could have gone into Ted's 8000G tank that he is building. He is located in the Seattle Area as well. Ted and I have recued many ophaned fish. Send me an email if you want more info. MY email is in my sig.

Well, seems that this is the route you are choosing.....GOOD LUCK mei :)
Anyhow, what are you going to pack your aro in.....cooler? I would try to "Mac Guyver" a small powerhead to some sort of battery pack and vacum seal it in a waterproof bag , also making sure it completely sealed, and put PLENTY of pure oxygen in it since it might use a lot from possible stress. Just a thought. Would make sure your aro got it's share of oxygen for the long flight. Also your aro already has traveled from hong kong. I think yours will be one of the more traveled aro's around. :D

Would all of you involved in this thread please read the message I posted in the General Forum regarding "Aro Fundraiser"?

Thanks,
Mei

usps is a large gamble is it tank size that you can't keep it? ethnics what are the dimensions of your 400?

8x2.5x2.5 which is more like 380 but with the 50gal sump puts it over 400.
