Aro pond

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Here I think, that above view is great for a change, but aros are best from their sides. My tank I can see them from the sides, but it is low enough that when I feed I can still look down upon them. Even if the pond is at ground level you can put a glass pane in on the side.

i say forget the glass panel

they look jsut as stunning from the top ;)

IMO aro ponds are not worth it because they look better sideways

You could also try doing what this guy has done and get the best of both worlds by including a viewing window in the side...

i have an aro pond but the bigger one should be done by the end of the summer i changed it from being a liner to a sealed concrete tank with a window.. but it will still be around 5000 gallons... i havent drawn up the filter yet i have been considering many options but it will probally be a huge wet dry with a good size prefilter...

THats why my blue print has 60x36" Veiwing window :D Minimum:)

I think it would be coolto have an aro pond. It would be even better if the pond was big enough that you could swim with the aro.
 :woot: :clap I like the window idea, of course I'm not the one trying to make it! Aro rider........anything like whale rider?
