I left for work was gone for nine hours...When I returned my Silver Arowana(3.5inches)was swimming side ways...Its the same awo as in the post I made last week ,To quickly sum that his left eye got eatin out so he is missing his eye...Is he swimming like this cuz of some side effects or something. It is the only fish in a 44 gallon pentagon tank(not permanent)Water parameters are good, Marineland Penguin 200 Bio Wheel. The best way to describe his condition, it is like the missing eye is magnatized to the surface of the water. He's moving normal speed , eating fine, not gasping or nothing. He's just swimming cock-eyed...Can anyone tell me what is wrong?

if I can remember correctly you had him with other fish one who took his eye out, maybe the one thats stresing your aro is still there and that might be a factor for the swimming, he is not dying but soon the condition could get worse maybe move him to a solitary tank for some time might help

Your aro may have a infection you may want to add salt in any case to aid healing ,that must suck to have your eye eaten out. whats the temp like?

I got home from work today, and he is swimming completely horizontal. Its like he is using his one good eye to check out the bottom. I feel so bad I almost want to give up fish keeping all together. This gorgeous fish is sufering all because of my stupidity. Ive been into the hobby for about two and a half years. The only problem I had was when we had bad snow and the power was out for two weeks and a pair of White tip sharks died from sudden temp change when I put to warm of water in the tank to keep them warm...this is such a bummer...Thanks everyone for all the help...I appreciate it...
