Aro question...

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
He is a monster! I had an Oscar & an IT in their with him...We had to go and buy another tank just for those 2, the aro bullied them in the corners of the tank! So now he has the whole 125 just to his big mean self!

By black do you means the O. ferreirei? Damn that is huge! Most references say they usually top out between 18-24".

Yes...He is an O.ferreirai....we got him when he was only about 8" long...and now, he is the king of our little hobby! I think we have had him for about 4 years now? I am not sure...lol...Time just ticks on by...

Is the water condition ok ?.... Your filter maintaince up to date!. Usually Aro stops eating when he does not feel well or sometime he will also fast. When feeding gaint like this , it's best to feed him every alternate day. This will ensure all the food are fully digested. Another rule is to feed only 80% full , so that it will not go into fasting mode later on.

Thanks Dragon...Its been 4 days now, we fed him last night...Still just swam right by it! I am going to the lfs to find soem different frozen food...
