Aro sitting at cottom of tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
When my younger silver sat at the bottom of the tank I took it as a sign that it wasn't happy or comfortable because they are usually at the top on the prowl.

One thing I have found with arowana's since that silver was that it is very good to have a light on all the time. Not your fish tank lights but not complete darkness. When it was complete darkness and I slept in the room I would hear the aro thrashing like it was spooked or scared. I put in an ikea little yellow led light and never again has an aro been spooked at night, from what i can hear at least.
