yes they do... i would try some frozen blood worms ..out of eye dropper squirt in front of his face.. they always love them... but don't worry he will come around.. he has been through alot... times time..arows are sensitive..

And btw CAPS IS THE ENEMY. Don't use it! Lol. Hope your arowana eats. Just give it time, weekly water changes, keep his lights off, and watch out for tank mate aggression.

I bought my first aro 8 months ago at 4-5 inches. He refused all food for a week, and he is now approx 18" and eats anything that hits the surface. Just give him time, i'd say at least a week. then try some crickets. they're very close to their natural food and will wiggle and swim to encourage your aro.

Considering the three large oscars that are in with him and the raised level of activity during feeding time. You can bet he is stressed and likely gets more stressed when it's time to eat.
