great pics of a nice looking aro. In the pic of him jumping looks as if he is actually part out of the water?

Or am I just seeing things?:screwy:

You're right, in that pic I was standing over the open top shooting pics, I got that great "dragon" pic, then when I snapped the next pic, he simultaneously jumped out of the water straight up and hit the lens of my camera, that's why you can not see his head, he was hitting the camera! Pure luck and great timing!!!

That is so cool. What I am really amazed by is that there are no ripples or splashing. It is hard to even see the water line. Amazing pic.

I've got my silver eating of the top of some fake lilly pads, gonna try to capture that on film. Mainly do it with crickets so he can hunt them but he'll even after other foods I put on them.

hi bro mei, i have the same camera as yours. just hope my aro could pose as good as yours. ;)

thanks for the compliments, yeah, I'm starting to love this camera, got closeup pics of a coyote on a snowy field and a bald eagle standing in the snow yesterday right by my house.

I'm going to set up my new tank so more top will open for pics like that, the reflection has to be cropped out though.

sis mei
