Finally have my 240G tank any ideas as to aquascaping will be viewed from Front and back side . As opposed to just being viewed from front , L and R sides. am currently cycling the tank . certainly by next week my tank will be cycled. no plants just wood and rocks I currently have torpedo beach sand as my substrate , am thinking long branchy wood and scattered large black rocks will do the trick. as to placement and aquascaping I need help from you guys. please do post some pics , TY very much :headbang2

be careful if you spook your aro, all the drift wood or rocks can damage the scales and hurt the aro.

With decor and aros less is better. Especially when the aro gets bigger it will need all the tank for swimming space.

I don't want a bare tank , just need some ideas as to how to aquascape tank and still have enough swimming space when they get huge

If you are planning more then one, your 240g will be limited on swimming space when they get huge. Personally I believe a 240g is too small for a single silver or black aro let alone multiples. A 240g would probably be fine with a single aussie or asian(illegal) unless they grew beyond 24".

I have one around 4inches in a 75 planted!(grow out tank) He started in there inch with a yolk sac.
