Aro with cloudy eyes :(

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Sure, I have pix but I can't guarantee that you will see the pix clearly since I don't have a fancy camera to take a good pic but I'll try to get the best pic that I could get tomorrow. Anyway I'll just post them tomorrow since I'm too busy downloading files from the net cause my comp got wasted 2 days ago so I have to reformat and dl things again....

oh then at least try

Crap, can't seem to upload any pix since my phone connection seems to be broken. I'll just give as much detail as I can.

For 3 days I've been observing him, the cloud seems to be growing from covering the bottom now covering half of the eye and his poop looks different from the one he always release, it looks like a string of white. Doesn't seem like a worm to me but it's so alarming.

So far he's eating as always. Fed him some raw shrimps and some worms just to bulk him up and build his strength. Putting 1 spoon of medication in the tank every morning and doing no wc since the LFS told me to do so.

I'm so confused right now and I don't know what to do because I've been to 3 LFS already and their instructions doesn't fit to one another.. So do I really need to do a big water change because the LFS here told me that wc is not necessary since the medications will be wasted but the other LFS that I've gone to told me that before medication, I must do about 25-50% water change but didn't recommend any salt treatment since they said that salt will only be used if there is a skin problem. If wc is really necessary before applying medications then I'll do it tomorrow.

The cloud is on it's intermediate stage right now and I don't believe that I don't need to wc anymore, so did a 45% wc this morning, put medications and some salt, hoping for a better condition within 24 hours...

just an update... after 12 hours of waiting I've seen that there is a whitish substance coming out from his eye... I've never experienced cloudy eye problems before but is it the way cloudy eye heals or it's leading into the worst part?
