what do you guys think of this aro? I have watched him grow from 6" to about 13" and I really can't decide if I should take him home. H has been in the LFS I work in for 9 months!!

for a LFS aro it looks really good. The only flaws I see are drop eye and an underbite, which with silvers is hard to avoid. If you've got the room, pick that bad boy up!

If you got the room...why not! It's a great fish. Fun to watch swim around and fun to watch eat.

Aros are great fish, I would suggest them to anyone w/ enough tank space!

you know, i would suggest you wait for a better buy, i mean unless you really really love this particular fish already. it has some flaws, maybe you can spend your money more wisely on a better specimen. your choice

Its always cool to take home fish that have been at the LFS you work at for a while and give it a good home.

I agree, but the only problem that I can see is the underbite. Thats not a huge deal, but if this fish is "special" then go ahead and get it, otherwise I would wait. But thats just my opinion, the final decision is up to you!

in my opinion wait.. he has 2 major flaws with the drop eye and LJP.. that doesn't mean that he is a bad fish because he actually seems to have good coloring but I would get one smaller so that you can watch him grow and maybe luck out and end up with the perfect aro!!!
