Ok guys The Aro is back on the market. The other buyer did not work out.
I think the majority have said it is a Silver Aro, maybe even a color variation of one.

Black arowanas are illegal in florida, Blue arowanas are not. Those are the words of 2 aquarium stores around my house. its a loop hole or something, i didn't listen to what he was saying. But big als and a lfs around my house was selling them, alota fl members saw them floating around in differnt stores in miami.

I think we already went through this once. Florida freshwater fish dealer liscense that is issued by FWC states and I quote:

"This permit does not authorize the importation or possession of the following aquatic species:

African Electric Catfishes (Family Malapteruridae, all species)
African Tigerfishes (subfamily hydrocyninae, all species)
Airbreathing Catfish
Airsac Catfish
Australian Crayfish
Bighead Carp
Blue Catfish
Bony Tongue Fishes (Osteoglossidae, all species except Silver Arowana (Osteoglossum Bicirrhosum)

Freshwater Stingrays
Grass Carp
Green Sunfish

All Arowanas except for Silvers are Illegal period. Pet stores will tell you what you want to hear to make money off of you. Dosen't mean it is true.

We are located in Ellenton. Just South of Tampa. About 1.5 hours from Orlando.

I'm just saying what the fish store told me, I dont believe them, but if they wana sell someone an illegal fish, i'm not gona stop them. And to the guy that picked him up good luck
