Hikari food sticks,FD shrimp or krill, Bio gold, Baby convicts, 1 very unlucky albino ruby shark, and I keep finding marks on my 7 inch silver sharks who have'nt grown as fast as him. Also some days I'll throw in some flake food for fun.

Sometimes they go nits for hikari floating sticks, sometimes for crickets and sometimes they even go all teh way down to the bottom to pick up pieces of shrimp. Small frogs are taken too. My silver are definitely too lazy to chase darting feeders (catfish excluded). Make sure they are fed varied diet (convinience is one thing). I usually have at least three types of food on hand... any left overs are devoured by outside tank ^^
