i dont think having he amount of aro in your tank has anything to do with feng shui but more with space issues. think about it harder and youll know but to be 100% safe solo is the way to go..flowerhorns are usually a nono
 
wow a 8ft tank is long but it wont be big enough to fit your user name in :D
 
Seriously, in that tank, Id say one fully grown silver is max. And flowerhornsare a nono. Stop trying to cram fish into it...
