i am not able to post anything in the buy/sell forum as i am getting some errors so please could u move this post to that forum for me......i want to sell this fish as soon as possible in order to give it a good home so please help me here

@ lemonhead i sold all my oscars and flowerhorns etc etc before coming to hostel thats about 6 months back.....something that was very difficult for me....right now all i have is a couple of goldfish :| ...plus the arowana is in his bowl not mine with some guppies in case its hungry!!!!!

as for the lfs question most lfs guys in india dont know much about fish themselves..all they think of is how to make money....if he can sell an arowana in a bowl then he gets his money and the guy cant return it coz obv the fish is gonna die soon......real nutheads ....plus they dont take it back that easily....if at all they do then they give u only half of what u pay for

this particular guy told my friend that the arowana brings good luck and things like that...made use of my friends zero knowledge of fish

100% agreed with that same here condition

what you're asking for a silver arowana is just too much. no one's gonna buy it. also, since there are very few Indian members here the chances of finding a buyer are lesser. try orkut and iah.in. both sites have lots more Indian members. good luck.

i hope that poor fish gets outta that bowl soon. this really sux.

When i was in India in December one fish store told me he can get me a asian aro for 3000 rupee, i got all exticted but then i realized i can't bring it back to US. After hearing what happened to your friend it makes me wonder if he knew what he was talking about...good luck on sale...

Considering the growth rate of silver arowana and the fact that this thread is 8 months old..... I highly doubt it, unless it's a really big bowl.
