the color thing is kinda funny cause i was wearing a cincinnati bengals jersey... for those who dont know it is orange with a little bit of black... so maybe thats what it was... but she seems to have calmed down a little i was just worried paid way too much for her... so im paranoid... i have never had one and i just want the best for it cause shes such a beauty.... she is in a good high traffic area near my living room so she should get used to it... the other fish in there swim around and dont spook her so i was just worried...

Im doing a water change again this week and just wanna know if there is any tricks or percautions i need to know before doing one... thanks for the help guys...

Red is at the far end of our visual spectrum, which we do not share exactly with all of Animalia
Most fish are very sensitive to Red light as this is the first to be filtered out as it passes through water
It's curious to see this sensitivity in a top swimming, fresh water fish however

Have you ever thought about why marine species are so vividly colored yellow and red?
Because below 50-100 feet those colors don't exist and they disappear in the darkness

As a Raiders fan I really hope you guys beat the Chargers this weekend.
ill admit the bengals suck and probably wont win another game but if you are rooting for a win well im with you on that then hahah

Most likely gettin used to new tank.
I agree with the colours and reflection things as well. If water is fine only other thing could be if it's too big for the tank.
