There seems to be more and more bashing on this forum. I thought we were a community that is held together by one interest. FISH. We're all here to enjoy and learn new things about our hobby, not give each other a hard time because of what we're sharing. Yes, there are laws and rules we need to follow, but why give a member a hard time? Can't we just enjoy it, and if you don't like what you see, instead of giving a negative feedback or pointing out the flaws or hating on people, just move to the next thread.

no one is bashing him, this should have been expected when he posted a picture of a tank full of illegal fish, with his location being SOCAL..whether thats his real location or not..i couldn't care less..but that is whats listed. i believe there is a rule on MFK about flaunting your illegal fish, which is why some members like myself become somewhat irked about these type of things. if he's not in socal..great..awesome fish then..wish i could keep them...but if he is..then i wish him luck, hopefully no fish and game personell find him and he has give up his awesome aro and rays, and get a large fine.
as for it being none of our bussiness...once you post something on a PUBLIC forum..it becomes everyones bussiness, like i said..it should have been expected..just because this is MFK ..doesn't mean everyone will praise you when you have, and show off your illegal fish.
how this was not expected is beyond me.
All the haters are just plain jealous. Enjoy the pics of the fish and make a nice comment. If not then just shut up.
Anyone that wants to post fish of illegal species is allowed to do so, whether you're in Long Beach or Wisconsin or Thailand. I wouldn't advise it considering the penalties, but that is my opinion. What isn't my opinion is the rules, which state that flaming, inappropriate language, and insulting other members is not allowed. Therefore, this thread is closed.

You can show off illegal fish if you want to. As long as you're not explicitly soliciting, selling, trading or exchanging the illegal fish.
