As I mentioned before, they had been together for probably 4 months with no issues. As I walked in the door yesterday I heard splashing and snouts hitting the side of the tank.

But as I woke up this morning it was already too late... Thanks for all the help guys...

ouch..maybe only having 2 fish is bad..

i use to have a 2 feet tank with a small silver b4.. wiith 4 convicts , 4 blue cichlid, 3 pink parrot , 2 pleco. as they get bigger convict get more aggressive , even the pink start laying eggs... but their busy among themself and never bother my silver.. eventually i move them to a 5 feet tank. and still no issues as long they have same family to bite about with
