You'd have to feed the feeders ten times as much food than you'd feed the arowana. This is due to the fact that only 10% of the energy from one trophic level makes it to the next trophic level.

It's just best to get your aro on pellets now.

yep just as everyone else said start him pellets and the sooner the better

Train him on pellets. But avoid starving him. At this size, it's not advised to starve him. If he still refuses, feed the feeders quality food. Then try again when he reaches a larger size.
