I agree looks likes it breathing hard. How big is that jar? HOw big is the tank and how often do you do water changes? I would be willing to bet like mentioned above better water quality would help alot.

lol idk bro but from all the aros ive seen that had gill curl esp. @ homies pads tthey were all in very small confinement.. why dont u experiment on a silver aro put it in a 55g for life tell me if it gets gillcurl or not.

ive seen an 2 yr old silver in a 29g it was swimming in circles diagonally like ring of fire
