Just need a few basic questions answered. Im looking into either a Silver or Black aro.... Want to know how rapidly they grow? Im using a 55g to grow out my cuvier/senegal bichir and was also wanting to grow out my Aro for my 300g. I have an AC110 and fluval305 for filtration. Trying to find out how long I have to buy the fish, house in my 55 and biuld my 300.....

Ok cause im starting construction of my 300 in a few months and want it done by september.. also does a silver or black grow any faster/slower?
do you think i have enough filtration? If not was going to either add a Hot magnum 250 HOB with biowheel or a penguin 350....
blacks are slower growers. With 300 gallon I would go with a sump, rather than cannister filters..
lol I mean for my 55. im doing a 100g wetdry for the 300. My 55g has an AC110 and fluval 305. With a arowana, sengal bichir, and 4 silver dollars in my 55g will that be enough filtration or should I add either a AC70, emperror 280 or hot mag 250 with biowheel?
Ok what filter if at all should I add to my 55. An ac70, penguin 350 or hot mag with no biowheel, the hot mag would be to polish the water
you have a decent filter load already on that 55. you could add another AC filter if you feel more comfortable. i honestly wouldn't use the H.O.T. magnum, they suck IME, also do the penguins.
