I just had to sell my Silver.... 
It was over 19" and was starting to stress the other fish and so it had to go! I had plenty of room for it in my 240 but the other fish are growing too. I started mine in a 55 gallon and it stayed in there for about 3 months, then to the big tank. I would only do that if you have a larger (&cycled) tank on hand.
