Arowana in a 125 gallon?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
There are a few different gallon totals across different brands.

I have seen the 72x18x24 advertised as
120 135 140 150.

I learned quick to never go by the gallons. Used or new.

I don't care if its 125, 150, 180 or 210. They are all to small. I don't understand why people care bout bare minimums. These fish need to be comfortable and love to move. Key word, MOVE. All to often I see these fish "pacing" tanks that are too small, makes me sick.

Totally agree. I think the minimum for a smaller aro like a jar should be an 8' tank. I won't even mention silver aros because my zoo had one that was easily 3' long.
It not like a territorial cichlid that does ok holding down a spot. Apex predators like this need some serious room.
