Arowana in a 6' tank. How long?

Consider building a plywood aquarium. There's so much plywood build threads on this site. I built my 430 gal this way. However, over a three month period, I did go over budget and spend 2000.00 to finish it & get it running. Still need to upgrade my lights & filtration, but it's fully functional. If I had done more research ahead of time, I would've saved alot more money. Just a thought.

very nice tank btw what are the dimensions?

Should've gone 36W x 28H. My aquarium is to tall. Servicing is a little more labor intensive when I need to use a stool to reach over the front and shoulders gets wet when I need to try and move things.

My advice for anyone that wants an arrowanna is dont buy one unless you have a tank larger enough to house it for life. I may be the exception but when I grew mine up I had all kinds of problems, They are very skiddish animals so he broke his back at about 7" and was hard to come back but he did! And after all that it was very difficult to get rid of him at a lil over 2' very sad day in my life
