Different gaming consoles are created for different purposes. Wii IMO is not in much compitetion with 360, PS3 due to the cheap price, ease of gameplay and the interaction, meaning your hand does everything, not just buttons.
But I would rather buy a 360 over PS3 just because Im an xbox guy.

PS3 = $900-950
Wii = $350
