Arowana Myth

 • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
the point is its a MYTH not a scam..can you tell the difference between the 2?
What's the difference? To me, both are not true, and both can be costly to believe!

x2. All you have to do is believe that you are lucky, and have a belief system that allows you to be lucky everyday.WHY? Because you create your own luck!!

I agree

if you believe in the myth ... red is good for business, gold good for house/family terms, silver good for get rid bad spirits but idk abt aus aros
myself dont quite in to it

There's a reason its a myth, IT'S NOT TRUE. Owning an arowana will give you nothing but a nice fish to look at.

If you groom it nicely, it can bring you wealth (you sell the fish)

I had a friend who sold his chilli red arowana for 5 times the price he brought just after 2 years.

If you believe in arowna myths like me, I have a simple question. I plan to take care of an arowana for a change. I believe in these because it happens, im a chinese and I believe in these.. so do you think an australian arowana is a bad luck or good luck fish?

LOL!!

A "Myth' is a word purely used to define something that is in fact not true!

...meanwhile... back in the real world...

I don't think you should buy an Australian Arowana.
If you want to keep a fish you should firstly consider where it came from, then you need to try to recreate that environment as best as you can within a tank.
If you are going to use 1000 year old fables as basis for buying a fish then maybe consider buying that rabbits foot and sticking that in your pocket. :)

Didn't want to get into this myth thing... but

I believe in the myth of Arowana dying in your place. Long story short... about 10 years ago, the same day my brother's Aust Arowana died... my sister went to the hospital(thank God she made a fully recovery). Might have been a coincidence, but about 4 years ago. The 2 arowanas my brother had died about 1 week before something that should have happened but didn't happen. After that, it made me firm believer in this "myth". Real or not.... I believe in it.

I had no idea the fish died until my grandma told me in the hospital that the fish died and that it had protected her.
