Arowana not balancing right

I transferred my silver arowana this morning from it's grow out tank to my display tank and a few hours later it had a confrontation with my gar and now isn't swimming or balancing right. The arowana wasn't bitten though. I have no idea were to start. Help please

Should I lower the water level now or wait another hr? To be floating around on its side and tail down for the last half hour really concerns me. I really don't want to loose it being my prized possession lol

i put him back in the grow out tank he came out of right after it happened in hopes to save it since i didn't take it down right away but sadly it didn't make it much longer. really sucks. funny you say gars hate silver cause my bala shark is still alive.
 
bala shark so fast, that why he can't eat them. I told you that cuz i want to share something to you and you said that. So, you just do whatever you want
 
Its not that they hate silver they love it! When you go fishing for bass with shiners ( silver fish) gar love it.

I think he means they hate silver fish because they love to eat silver fish.
