Which would you say had more owner response Asian or Silvers? Asian are beautiful but think Silvers are very striking in a different way!!! Just wanted opinions and experience's

you got it right .... but still prefer asian , more colorful , more personality , more challenge etc
That's like asking me to pick between an F350 and a Mustang GT. I love both, but for different reasons.

Asian Aros have more options for color but deep down in my heart, I still love Silver Aro over Asian Aro because of its best elegant swim movement.
if I could get my hands on one it would be an asian arowana all day. regardless of color I think they have more character and more of a challenge.
I prefer Asian too mostly because of the shape and obviously colours , like Justin blacks over silvers
I prefer silver arowanas. I currently have a young silver and a young Leichhardti. The silver is easier to feed eats everything that hits the water the Leichhardti is fussier, shyer and less owner responsive in general. Silvers are also far less expensive grow larger and are more eligent. If silvers were difficult to obtain and cost 4 times as much or were banned in the US they would be the fish everyone wants. Even blacks, virtually the same fish, twice the price, less color. Just my .02 on the aros game, everyone wants to out do the other guy.

Well said Tom! Though I have never owned neither, a well taken care of 3 ft silver is a beautiful sight! I like the fact that the silvers are a ferocious predators in the wild leaping in mid air to catch prey!!
