i didnt know how to post pics bu i posted in them in my only gallery i only found two pics online tho :/ but i do not want to have to buy a 40 or a 55 gal just for the eel thanks for the suggestion but id rather not and is it true that the aro has to be twice the length of his oscar neighbours?
YOU NEED a 55gal for the Bichir (ITS NOT AN EEL AND IS NO WAY RELATED TO ONE!!! Sorry its a pet peeve of mine (like calling a legless lizard a snake) ) It will get eaten by the oscar Pacu or any other fish in that setup the "freshwater" Moray is not freshwater at all Arowana Pacu and Oscar can work but you'll need a larger tank to house Pacu

Oscars tend to be bullies until someone puts them in their place. The problem that I experienced was that arowanas are usually more aggressive towards other arowanas, or fish with the same body shape (knifefish), while cichlids pick on everything. So what ends up happening is that the oscars will try to lip lock with the arowana, but the arowana has no idea wtf is going on (because lip locking is not part of their natural behavior), and freaks out. However, when the arowanas are much bigger, the oscars tend to leave them alone (because deep down inside, they're all big 'ol pansies).

My 500 gal isn't big enough to house mine.......If you can toss him into a 400 gal solo...he could live a bit in it...But certainly will need upgraded here shortly....
