I have Arowana in your area in my water with out adjusting the PH but your in DM I believe and I am in WDM, DM uses chlorine WDM uses chloramine just a helpful hint since your in my area

Stability is much more to be concerned with...
Because we do so much water changing, what is readily available from your tap, is more practical...just be sure to de-clorinate.

my ph is about 6.5 for my aro.

so i say 8 is kinda high.

also, no need to give me crap over it. i just give my thought here, like every one else.

mine is kept at 6.6. Seems aros, like many other fish, can adapt to a wide range of pH. Stability is the only real issue with pH.
