i have never heard that 1 b4 but i have been told to put some floating plants so it looks up all the time ,i have a silver aro about 40cm plus and hasnt got drop at all not even the slightest, i only feed mine hikari pellets. my brothers one had drop eye when it was only 15cm but his one ate anything and everything, maybe the diet may cause it.

Asians are known to be less prone to getting DE. All 15 of mine are perfectly fine.chinov35;2773724; said:

Its true theres no proven cures, except the pond, but its also not proven how it is caused. If its genetics, then why do all big silvers ive seen have DE while only a couple asian aros ive seen have DE with 95% of them not having DE? And they ones with DE varies from chili reds to X backs, so how would this be genetics?bitteraspects;2776458; said:
