Ugh, I've been needing to pickup a Lima that's quite big for weeks, now I'm tempted not to ;O

Didn't figure it would gulp down even bichirs, as the small one I had wouldn't eat much ;o

Probably not adult bichir species that grow over 24" as they would probably be too feisty. However, I would watch out for smaller speices or species that grow to 24"; catfish are notorious for their bigger than life appetite.

Just need that lucky in between size
 
I'm also thinking of keeping a red slider and a banded tile snake as well. Would these be good addition? A red slider would be smaller than almost all the other fish and I'll have a ledge for it. Whereas, tile snakes have a tiny mouth.
 
Turtles and fish almost never work out, one will attack the other at some point
