hi everyone, im new to MFK and i was wondering if a arowana would do well in a 500gal tank with a clown knife, some senegal bichirs?

to MFK!what are the dimensions? length and width of the tank are the most important factors. at 500 gallons, i'd imagine there would be plenty of swimming room for an aro.
Jardinis tend to snap. Those fish are unlikely to survive for a long time. PH stands for Philippines, right? Asian arowanas are a nice choice.addicted2oddballs;2973297; said:

Maybe, maybe not. Read the sticky thread at the top of the forum about jardini and tankmates. I'd also suggest getting a larger species of polypterus, senegals only get to about 12", in a big tank like that you could go for endli's, ornates, congicus etc.

Change the bichir to larger species such as ornates or endlis. Those are quite commonly available.
