Arowana prices ?????

i just went to the LFS and seen a 5" arowana for $80 i was just wandering what the prices are were you live???

my LFS is trying to flog a poor 10" beat-to-tatters (healed, but badly scarred) super red for $2500. My silver was $20. So yeah, depends on the species

well i've seen 8-9"er's sell for around that before so imo it's steep, if you were looking to buy i'd problably look for an online vendor willing to ship rather than your lfs, though if you do count in price for shipping on second though it would probably come out even, but i'm sure you'd be able to find a better deal if you look around the market place here and such.

I could get a 9-10" silver in less than 25$

i saw silvers around here at 7in mark for $20.so that would be kinda expensive.

i saw a fair looking one here in indy for like 60 and one that was a week from death for 30 range... its kinda sad really.
