aro not eating had him for weeks he used to eat and was active but now does not eat. now hides every day and rams into stuff when anyone comes near.

Give him some time to settle down, check ur water parameters... Off the light and if u r worried about him starving thn add a live guppy at night time...
But keep in mind adding live fish may cause disease

Help us help you. I have no experience with arowanas but I do know fish will reject food and bump into things when they try to run away from people. Usually the case is they are being kept in a tank too small for them, something in the water parameters has changed or they have a disease/parasite showing it's ugly symptoms.

For us to help diagnose the issue we need to know a few things.
1. What size tank is it being kept in and how big is your arowana?

2. Was the tank cycled before you put it in?

3. What are the parameters of the water? Has anything changed?

4. What are you feeding it?

5. What is being kept with it?

well he is being kept in a 55 gallon aquaria he is only 6 inches i could put him in my pond but he will get eaten and the pond is way too big to feed him. he ll have to be at least 9 inches before i put him in the pond. he was in the tank for about 3 months and used to eat chicken shrimp and hikari food sticks but now nothing hides in the filter all day. he is in with 1 senegal bichir 4 inches 1 datnoid 3 inches. he is not breathing heavily and he looks fine water parameters are fine

OK... he has been in the present tank for about 3 months and now with the bichir and datnoid ----> these two tankmates, have they been around with your arowana during those 3 months or any one of them were actually recently added to tank?

they have been around before arowana iam pissed off today also he is in the corner. he was not like this before he looks healthy but thin cause he has not eaten for 4 days

How big is your arowana? If you are sure that your arowana is healthy, then it seems likely to me that it might have been spooked by someone. Did anyone change the water for you instead of by yourself? Do you have any children at home that could "slap" the glass of the aquarium? Somehow. someone spooked it --- that's my guess. When it is spooked, it will also lose its appetite... if so, a few days of not eating will not be a thing to be alarmed of.

Think of anyone around (like children) that could have given it a shock... so that you can think of how to prevent it from happening again.

well i have no children since iam 18 and there was one kid who always taps on the so hard that it shakes. i told him not to know crazy kid
