i am new to the forum and need some advice......
i have a 6 inch arOwana and it is very healthy the only problem is it won't eat... :(
i have tried crickets but he won't eat them... and i have heard that feeders are unhealthy for them..
any advice on what i should feed him???

how long have you had him? Is the tank cycled and water ok? Give him some time

I've had him for 2 weeks and i have a 95 gallon rated filter and i tested my nitrate levels and everything is at zero..

my tank is 55 gallons but is a temporary tank until all my fish grow then they go into a 205

if everything is at 0 than its not likely cycled.....
have you kept fish before? Do you understand the nitrogen cycle?

YES i have had 3 fish tanks in the past and have kept many fish including rtc, hujeta gars and peacock bass and i
have never had a problem with them dying from the nitrogen levels.
my nitrate levels are
ph = 7.2
nitrate = 2 ppm
nitrite = 0 ppm

idk thats what i have is that bad?

they give out good oxygen right?

if it disturbs the surface of the water it will give good oxygen. 2 weeks is getting close to the time when it should of eaten. Whats the temp? Try catching some spiders. My old silver loved them as a baby. Offer diff foods. It will come around. getting it to eat pellets would be best
