try feeding pieces of shrimp. one of my blacks would not eat pellets nor crickets for over 3 weeks. ended up dropping shrimp in and he went for it right away. I then started stuffing the shrimp with carnisticks so that they floated and slowly started increasing how many pellets id stuff in. After a week, the aro started eating pellets w/o the shrimp.
I just bought a juvenile (about 8-9 inches) a week ago and I had the same problem. He wouldn't eat crickets, shrimp, or the special carnivore pellets the LFS sells (with a pic of an aro on the label). I want to the supermarket and bought some beef heart and cut it into little bite size strips and he loves em! Today I picked up some meal worms and he was all over those too. It took him a while to get one down but he seemed to really like it. He still doesn't like crickets though. Try fresh beef heart or meal worms.
